Lessons from the temptation of Jesus (Matthew 4)

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

“I, the prisoner in the Lord, urge you therefore to lead a life worthy of the vocation to which you were called. With all humility and gentleness, and with patience, support each other in love.” (Ephesians 4: 1 – 2).

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

“Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the merciful Father and the God who gives every possible encouragement” (2 Corinthians 1: 2 – 3)

This time I am writing down on the thoughts that our LORD gave us on a well known topic, the first sign of Jesus Christ.

Passing Over

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

First of all I give thanks to my God through Jesus Christ for giving me this opportunity to write this letter.
May He strengthen us through our mutual faith, yours and mine.

The Israelites celebrated the passover festival for seven days every year to honor our God the Father, because HE passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt, and struck Egypt but spared their houses (Exodus 12: 26 – 27). When meditating the passover event during this Maundy Thursday I had a different explanation in my heart. I am sharing it out in this letter.

Armour of God

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all the spiritual blessings of heaven in Christ. (Ephesians 1: 2 – 3).

Whenever there is a failure in life at any moment the question that comes in our mind are, “Lord, why this to me?”, “Am I not walking in your path?”, “It is only I who suffer and everyone else are happy. Why?”, “Why are you allowing this to happen in my life?” etc… and only very few ask “Lord give me the strength to carry this cross/suffering”. I was also a person who use to ask God all the “Why?” questions when I faced a failure.

Passing Over (Passover) Continuation..

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. In order to set us free from this present evil age, Christ gave himself for our sins, in obedience to the will of our God and Father (Galatians 1:3-4)

Faith in Lord

“When the son of man comes, will he find faith on the Earth?” – Luke 18:8

We live in a time, where there is a lot of cloud on this subject. Today in our generation, we are unclear or doubt or challenge or even don’t want to involve in this debate. This is not quite untrue, when we hear everyday something about an atheist talk around us.

My yoke is easy and my burden light (Matthew 11:30)

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

May the peace that our gave us be with us and let us share the peace with one another.

When I read the verse Matthew 11:30 (“Yes, my yoke is easy and my burden is light“) I had many questions raised within me. I started to meditate on the same. I asked to myself our Master says His yoke is easy and His burden is light, what is His yoke and burden? Meditating on it again I had another question, so what is others yoke and burden? Jesus clearly says that His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Suddenly the words of our Lord on Pharisees came to my mind. It is the verse in Matthew 23: 3 -4. (“… they do not practice what they preach. They tie up heavy burden’s and lay them on people’s shoulders. …”)

Open the door (Revelation 3:20)

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
May Lord bless you and guide you in this wonderful year and His everlasting peace be within us.
This time I write down the thoughts Lord gave on meditating the verse Revelation 3:20.

“Look, I am standing at the door, knocking. If one of you hears me calling and opens the door, I will come in to share a meal at that person’s side.” (Revelation 3:20)
